In collaboration with Ricoh GR Australia and PGYTECH

This photowalk is supported by GR Space Brisbane and PGYTECH, with a selection of GR cameras available for attendees to test and shoot with throughout the walk.

Upcoming Events

Because we need a space to slow down together…

Life moves fast.
Between work, deadlines, and everything else, it’s easy to stop noticing the small details around us.

These photowalks started as a simple idea, to slow down for a few hours, walk through the city, and observe the everyday moments we often miss.

But over time it became something more.

Brisbane has so many curious and passionate creatives, yet there aren’t many spaces where people can simply meet, share ideas, and support each other.

I wanted to create a space for a new generation of photographers and creatives to connect, grow together, and build a community around creativity.

So these walks are not just about photography.

They’re about connection, curiosity, and seeing the city, and each other, a little differently.

FAQs

  • Not at all. These photowalks are open to everyone, whether you’re just starting out or have been shooting for years. What matters most is curiosity and a love for observing the world around you.

  • Anything you enjoy shooting with. Film cameras, digital cameras, or even your phone are all welcome. The goal isn’t gear, it’s seeing and documenting moments.

  • We meet at a starting point, spend a few minutes mingling, and then explore the area together. Conversations happen naturally as we walk, observe, and photograph the city. The walk usually ends at a finishing point, and sometimes the group continues the evening with a beer or dinner nearby.

  • Most people come alone. The walks are intentionally relaxed and welcoming, so it’s easy to start conversations and meet new people who share similar interests.

  • Most walks last around 2 to 3 hours, depending on the route. There’s no pressure to stay the entire time, you’re welcome to join midway or leave earlier if needed.

  • I keep the walks relatively small so they feel personal and easy to connect. Spots can fill up quickly, which is why joining the waitlist is the best way to hear about the next walk.
